Well, Clark, when you start throwing people thirty feet, I'll start writing nice things about you too.

Chloe goes walking through Smallville with Pete. Pete says Clark was acting weird; Chloe says that Clark "has always been weird." She complains that Clark needs a "power bar" since he's still not done with his chores.

A thief comes up and grabs Chloe's computer bag; he pushes Pete and Chloe to the ground. Eric sees this and speeds over, telling the thief to "give it back." He breaks a night with his bare hands and throws the thief through a window. Chloe askes Pete "Did you just see that?" Eric parts the crowd to give the bag back to Chloe; she grins up at him and says "Thank you! That was amazing." Eric grins at her and says "Anytime."

Chloe writers her first Ledger-printed article about Eric; she calls him Smallville's Superboy*. Clark says tells her that Eric just stopped a purse snatcher; that it's "not that big of a deal." Eric rushes over to her and thanks her for the article; Chloe thanks him for her computer again and flirts with him. Clark is unamused. Chloe says that she came up with Superboy; Eric says he likes it. Clark thinks it's "kinda lame." Pete says Clark is just jealous; Chloe tacks on "You know Clark, when you start throwing people thirty feet, I'll start writing nice things about you too." (And, amusingly enough, again with the blue shirt.)

* Superboy is notable because of two things, the "super" name and the fact that Eric was named by a journalist. Of course, since Lois Lane named Superman the parallel here is obvious.
