SV Producer says Lois Stole Chloe's Life

TV Guide Interview March 2009TV Guide Interview March 2009Smallville Producer Brian Peterson commented that Chloe's life was stolen by EDLois in an interview with TVGuide to promote the episode "Hex" airing tonight.

Still developing her magic skills, Zatanna’s sole power, when we firstmeet her, is the ability to grant one wish. Chloe requests a life more like her cousin Lois Lane. “Chloe is in a very difficult time in her life,” Peterson says. “She’s just lost Jimmy [who left her in last week’s episode] and she’s looking across the room at Lois Lane, who has basically taken her life and is living this fabulous life at the Daily Planet.” She’ll wake up to find out that she’s become Lois (giving actress Erica Durance the chance to play Chloe).

As for Clark, he wants to experience a life less encumbered by hiding his identity as the crime-fighting Red Blue Blur. “In getting his wish fulfilled, Clark finds that he no longer has to lead a double life,” Peterson teases, “but I don’t want to give away which one of those lives he has to give up.”
